About Us

Chrisoft at this point is a one man band. It consists of only one member for now basically.

The point of Chrisoft is to deliver software developer under it's name for end users, which is mostly Windows at this stage (excluding browser developments and tutorial/article content).

Most works thus far, are merely for hobby and enjoyment, but some get a little more polished and feature filled so that other users can enjoy their use too.

About the owner (Chesso/Christopher):
Well basically, I got my first shot at a computer (aside from Mac Games in primary school) when I was 16, from that point I quickly got into chatting around for fun, which led me to mIRC, an IRC (Internet Relay Chat) client.

Not long after using mIRC, I began looking up and asking people as to how to learn the scripting language available within mIRC, of course I didn't recieve much help back then, everyone thought they were too good ha! But with a few helpful people and eventually the help file (it makes a lot more sense when you actually know something) I progressed through it pretty quickly over the months.

At some stage after some months, I was pretty bored of it and wanted something more, which led me to Microsoft Visual Basic, I learnt this for about a year.

After that point I was sick and tired of the RTL (Run Time Library) that I decided to search for something new, which led me to C++, Borland Delphi among many others (such HTML and the like for the Web).

And up to this point I still use those tools, for about 2 years or so roughly.

For a round-about list of what I have either gone into or dabbled in, look below:

  • C++ (Dev-CPP)
  • C# (very little)
  • Object Pascal (Borland Delphi)
  • Microsoft Visual Basic 6
  • Win32 Assembly (Win32ASM)
  • mIRC Scripting
  • Game Maker 5/6 Scripting
  • RPG Maker XP Scripting (very little of it)
  • My own made scripting language (a very small one)
  • Flash 8/AS2 and 9/AS3
  • HTML
  • XHTML
  • CSS
  • Javascript
  • VBScript (a little)
  • PHP
  • mySQL
